Simple Garlic Baked Shrimp
This recipe is proof that it doesn’t take much to make an impressive, satisfying and most of all easy dinner. My usual way to cook shrimp is to saute or fry it, and our children absolutely love it fried. However the other day I figured I’d give baking a try, and the results were well received even by our picky little eaters!
This is a quick 15-minute recipe for baked shrimp with just MAHMI All-Purpose, pink Himalayan sea salt, butter and garlic, with just a sprinkle of lime juice and fresh parsley; leaving you with a bright and fresh flavor. And since it’s oven baked, you will end up with a perfect texture; nothing rubbery, just delicate, plump and juicy.
Prep time: 10 mins Cook time: 15-20 mins
Main Ingredients
1-1/4 lb large raw shrimp, cleaned and deveined
7 garlic cloves, minced
8 tbsp butter, melted
4 tsp MAHMI Original All-Purpose seasoning
1/2 tsp salt, or salt to taste
1/2 lime or lemon, juice
Sprinkle of fresh parsley
Recipe Steps
Preheat oven to 350*
Clean and devein shrimp, and pat dry.
In a small saucepan or in the microwave, melt butter, then season with garlic, MAHMI All-Purpose, and pink Himalayan sea salt. Mix well.
To a large oven-safe pan or baking pan, add shrimp in an even layer. Spread on butter sauce using a basting pastry brush.
Bake for 9-13 minutes (20 minutes if you double layer the shrimp) until shrimp is throughly cooked through (pink and opaque in color).
Sprinkle on a little lime or lemon juice, and a sprinkle of parsley, mix and enjoy!
