Prep time: 15 mins Cook time: 25 mins
Main Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp MAHMI Adobo seasoning (releasing 5/1/25)
1 tsp Sazon (of your choice)
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt, or salt to taste
1 tsp tomato paste
1/2 cup coconut milk (will make ground beef tender and moist)
8 large flour tortillas
4 tostada shells
2 cups shredded lettuce
1 cup sour cream
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
1 Tbsp. Canola oil
Recipe Steps:
Season & Cook the Beef
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Sprinkle in the MAHMI Adobo seasoning, Sazon, garlic, and salt; stirring well to coat the beef in all the bold flavors. No need to drain beef oil—keep that extra richness in the pan. Stir in the tomato paste and let it cook for about 1 minute to enhance the depth of flavor. Pour in the coconut milk, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for 3-5 minutes until the beef is tender and saucy.
Assemble Each Crunchwrap
Spoon the seasoned ground beef into the center of each large flour tortilla, leaving enough space around the edges for folding. Drizzle with cheese sauce, then place a tostada shell on top. Spread a layer of sour cream over the shell, followed by lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and shredded cheeses. Carefully fold the edges of the large tortilla inward toward the center, creating pleats as you go, turning it into a hexagon shape. Flip the Crunchwrap over so the folded side is on the bottom, helping it stay sealed and hold its shape.
Crisp It Up
Heat a skillet over medium heat with a canola oil. Place the Crunchwrap seam-side down and press lightly to help it hold its shape. Cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until crisp.
Serve & Enjoy!
Slice in half and serve warm with your favorite sides—extra sour cream, salsa, or guacamole work great. Dig in and enjoy!
