Sticky Honey Glaze Wings

These wings are perfect for dinner, game night, tailgates, and even potlucks. Whatever the occasion these wings will be a hit. Using our MAHMI Sweet & Spicy Creole seasoning to season the wings, flour, and honey sauce, it will give your wings a burst of flavor and a nice warm tingle to your lips and tastebuds!

Main Ingredients

  • 2.5 pounds chicken wings, drumettes and wings separated (about 20 pieces total)

  • 3tbsp ans 2tsp of MAHMI Sweet & Spicy Creole

  • Salt to taste

  • 1/2 cups flour

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)

  • 4 cups vegetable oil

Recipe Steps

  1. In a large bowl season clean chicken wings with 1.5 Sweet & Spicy Creole seasoning and salt to taste.

  2. In a separate bowl add flour, 1.5 tbsp Sweet & Spicy Creole seasoning, salt to taste, and whisk to combine. Add the wings in one by one and toss until each wing is well-coated.

  3. Set wings aside on a cooling rack and let sit for 3-5 minutes before frying.

  4. Meanwhile in a large sauce pan one medium heat, heat oil to 350*. If you do not have a thermometer, dip a wooded spoon into the oil, if the oil bubble around the spoon the oil is ready.

  5. Next fry the wings in batches of 3-4 wings at a time: fry until cooked through, golden-brown, and crisp, about 5 to 7 minutes. Using a spider strainer or slotted spoon to transfer wings to another cooling rack. Let cool 5 minutes before serving.

  6. While the wings cool, in a small sauce pan on medium heat melt butter, add 2tsp Sweet & Spicy Creole seasoning, honey, and parsley. Whisk ingredients well and let sauce cook for 2 minutes.

  7. Add wings in a large bowl and toss wings in sauced until evenly coated, and serve.
